Day 1: Rome | Sorrento

If you dream of experiencing some of Italy’s most breathtaking coastal towns, join us on this unforgettable 3-day journey to Sorrento, Capri and Pompeii. After an early morning pick-up from your centrally locate hotel, your adventure begins with a scenic transfer from Rome to Sorrento. As we travel, marvel at the stunning landscapes of the Italian countryside and the breathtaking views along the Coast, where crystal-clear waters meet hills dotted with citrus groves and charming villages. Arriving in Sorrento, the jewel of the Amalfi Coast, you'll be enchanted by its vibrant streets, artisanal ceramic workshops, and historic churches. After checking in at your hotel, enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. For those seeking more adventure, consider joining an optional tour to explore the spectacular Amalfi Coast. In the evening, savour a delicious dinner at the hotel (smart-casual attire required), followed by an overnight stay in Sorrento. (D)

Day 2: Capri

Following breakfast, you'll depart by boat to the island of Capri. Depending on weather conditions, you’ll take a boat ride to the popular and dreamy “Grotta Azzurra” (Blue Grotto), where the sunlight passes through an underwater cavity and shines through the seawater, creating a magical blue reflection. You'll then board a minibus for a scenic drive to Anacapri, 918 feet (280 meters) above sea level where you will be amazed by the wonderful views of the Bay of Naples. There will be free time for lunch on your own and explore Capri at your leisure or go shopping. You will then return to Marina Grande for your boat ride back to Sorrento. Dinner tonight will be served at your hotel. (B.D)

Day 3: Sorrento | Pompeii | Rome

After breakfast, you'll have some free time to soak in Sorrento's charm one last time. Around 1:15 pm, we begin the final leg of our journey. Accompanied by our expert tour leader, we head to Pompeii, where a professional local guide will take you on an extraordinary walking tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the remarkably preserved ruins of this ancient Roman city, frozen in time by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. You’ll learn how people lived at that time, visiting homes, shops, and bakeries that bring the past to life. Admire the frescoes, squares, and temples to imagine how rich and prosperous the city was before that fateful day. Skip-the-line access, personal earphones, and a radio receiver ensure you won’t miss a single fascinating detail as your guide brings history to life. At the end of the tour, we'll depart for our return journey to Rome, filled with memories of an unforgettable Italian adventure.
